Int'l Going Monk Day is the first Saturday after the start of Lent. Saturday, February 25, 2012 for you heathens!

What is it about? Simple. Monks made some damn good beer. They still do. You can buy it right now and drink it right now. Yep, even at your local pub. Take part in the tradition and "fast" this Lenten season with a few "Monk" style beers at your local favorite watering hole. It's not just for fun. It's for history and keeping some pretty terrific traditions alive.
